TTEK Founder to be one of 80 Global Advisors for Connect NS Export Cafe

Chris Thibedeau is one of 80 Global Advisors announced today from around the world for the upcoming ConnectNS 2016 Export Café. Here is a link to the media release and video.

The program, unveiled today at the annual Nova Scotia Export Achievement Awards, will offer Nova Scotia exporters exclusive access to Global Advisors in an effort to become more globally connected.

The Global Advisors are local, national, and international business leaders with expertise who all share a connection to Nova Scotia—whether expats, alumni, or friends of the province—and represent connections in strategic markets and sectors of focus.

From Nova Scotia, Mr. Thibedeau is initiating a technology start-up based out of Barbados with a focus on building and deploying applications for customs and border modernization.  He will be providing advice to fellow Nova Scotians who seekto export software and technology from Nova Scotia to various global jurisdictions, including advice on international business development, channel partnering, using Canadian assistance abroad such as the Trade Commissioner services, staying mindful of export control, and protection from foreign corrupt practices.  Invited to join the program from the Premier of Nova Scotia, Stephen Mcneil and the CEO of NS Business Inc., Laurel Broten, -Mr. Thibedeau looks forward to assisting and offering value to his fellow Nova Scotians in these areas.
