Ex-IBM Senior Leader joins TTEK in advisory role to help deliver industry leading Customs and Border Processing Technologies
Barbados, August 6, 2019 - TTEK Inc., a trailblazer in advanced technology for the optimization of customs and border processing, announced today that Mr. Carlos Santos has agreed to join our team as a member of TTEK’s Advisory Board.
With over 30+ years experience at IBM Canada, Mr. Santos led the National Public Safety and Security practice, which included the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA).
Mr. Santos and his team helped modernize CBSA through the adoption of new risk management technologies and approaches, including cognitive computing solutions being deployed by IBM to other global Customs administrations.
Mr. Santos was also a leader in IBM’s Global Customs and Borders Practice, which promoted the exchange of ideas and capabilities among IBM’s clients to strengthen and optimize the delivery of IBM technologies and solutions. His portfolio at IBM included Canada and the Caribbean, where he placed a strong focus on customs and border innovation through well-managed technology adoption projects. His experience will serve as an invaluable resource as TTEK continues to grow and delivery successful products and services to customs and border organizations worldwide.
